Jungclaus, Virginia “Ginny”, (nee Mertz), peacefully asleep with our Lord December 20, 2019. Born October 10, 1921. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Jungclaus; dearest mother of Roger (the late Sally) Jungclaus and Janet Jungclaus; dear grandma of David (Michelle Zamniak) Jungclaus and Barbara (Mike) Palmer; loving great-grandma of Domenick Palmer and Daniel Palmer.

Virginia was a bright, kind and loving lady with a most beautiful heart, gentle wit, wonderful smile and infectious laugh. She was hard working, strong and independent. She greatly loved family, friends, home, travel, games and music. She truly lived by the Golden Rule.

Services: Funeral services will be private. The family thanks the compassionate caregivers at Mercy South Hospital and deGreeff Hospice.  Passed away peacefully on Monday December 16, 2019 with her loved ones by her side. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (nee Burton) and Mark Talley of St. Louis; grandmother of Hannah, Carson and Justin Talley; dear sister of Sharon Schoenberger, Maureen (Rudy) Bini and Tim (Bette) Leahy.

Peggy was born in Jennings, MO and attended St Louise de Marrilac, Incarnate Word Academy and St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Christian Hospital Northeast for 37 years.

Services: A mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. A service of KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL.

Becker, Ruby B.

(nee Wiliams) passed peacefully at age 84, on Monday, December 23, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Ruby was born in St. Louis, MO on September 24, 1935 to the late Donald L. and Estella (nee Mitchell) Williams. She later married her sweetheart Bill Bovaconti and together they welcomed four children who were the most important part of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends along with her love to cook, travel, crochet and the casinos. She didn’t get her driver’s license until her first husband passed away and it was at this time she went to nursing school, received her LPN degree and worked with the elderly for many years. She later married Bud Becker and helped him with operations of the Imperial Bowling Lanes. Ruby is survived by her children: Terry (John) Kennamann of Byrnes Mill, Billy (Dee) Bovaconti of DeSoto, Chris Bovaconti (Brian Gonsalves) of Imperial and Tony (Rachel) Bovaconti of O’Fallon, MO; her grandchildren: Johnny Kennamann, Katie Runyon, Krista Bovaconti, Billy Bovaconti, Brian Bovaconti, Stacey Smith and Tanner Bovaconti; her great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Sam, Lily, Cameron, Cambell, Johanna, Grayson, Malaki, Zahara and Kia along with many family and friends. Preceded in death by two husbands, William “Bill” Bovaconti (father of her children) and Alvin “Bud” Becker, her two brothers Harold Williams and Donald Williams and a grandson, Tyler Bovaconti.

The family would like to thank the BJC Hospice team for their compassionate and attentive care of our mother, with a special heartfelt thank you to her nurse Kristi Mulder and her home health aide Bobbi Holly.

SERVICES:  Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Friday, December 27, 4pm-8pm with a funeral ceremony at 7pm. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to BJC Hospice or American Cancer Society appreciated.
