Loving husband of the late Rita Sophia Novak, dear father of Shirley (Don) Gibson, Gary (Rhonda) Flure and the late Diana Flure. Dearest Grandfather of Deidre Birk, Damian Gibson, Douglas Gibson and David (Kim) Gibson. Great Grandfather of Brittany Birk, Alexis Gibson, Charles Gibson and Brody Gibson. Great-great Grandfather of Colton Linsman.
Chuck was a veteran of WW2, and was at the Battle of the Bulge. A para-trooper, carbine sharpshooter and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He retired after 38 years from the Ford Plant in Hazelwood.
Chuck loved to work on cars, play cards and spend time with his family.
SERVICES: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Sun., June 25, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Funeral Monday, June 26, 12:00 Noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
