Born on September 24, 1930, peacefully passed on December 23, 2015 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Carol Hawks for 26 years; dear father of Mary Franklin (Michael); dear stepfather of Dawn Kyle and Bobette Wagner (Tim); dear grandfather of Morgan, Noah, Natalie, Careter and Eli Franklin; dear step-grandfather of Amarette Arnold (Chris); dear step-great-grandfather of Preston and Chase Arnold. Surviving siblings are Howard, Glen and David Hawks, Betty Winstead (Bill), Sarah Jones and Amelia Pennington.
Bill served in the Army during the Korean War.
Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. on Tuesday, December 29, 11 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to cover funeral expenses. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m.
