Services: Visitation at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 8300 Morganford Rd., 63123, on Sunday, June 18, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Monday, June 19 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
At the time of his death, Msgr. Forst was the longest ordained priest in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, having been ordained December 21, 1945. He was a devoted pastor, a loyal friend and loving uncle. He was a diligent farmer, enthusiastic carpenter and was teaching religion classes at St. Mark’s Catholic School until 2016. Masses preferred or contributions to St. Mark’s Catholic Church or Mother of Good Council Home, appreciated.
